Way overdue, the west will, finally, be getting their first taste of Sakura Wars this winter. Strangely enough Sega has passed on bringing it stateside and instead NISamerica will be handling this masterpiece. I am not quite sure what the logic behind Sega’s decision was considering the game received a near perfect famitsu score of 37 (10/10/9/8).  Sadly it’s probably better this way, NIS knows how to sell quality titles, they also took the initiative to port the ps2 one over to the wii with a reported upgrade in graphics and features - so hats off to NISamerica - with them there’d only be FPS’s and God Of War clones.
