Phantasy Star Portable Demo is Available [PSP]
Though no official word has been made on Sega’s official website, it’s available from the Playstation Store. According to pso-world:
- 2 story missions
- Several missions in multi-mode.
- Few PSP-exclusive weapons are available in the demo as rare drops.
- The demo is 272 MB and is rated E for everyone.
I’ve had the pleasure of playing the demo and if you were a fan of the ps2/pc/xbox one it’s pretty much the same but a bit sleeker and it’s portable!

New Puzzler from Square [DS]
It’s called Yosumin and looks to be simple yet addictive. There is an online demo (much the trend these days) so you can give it a go (if you are a square-enix member).
The basic premise is to make squares by clicking two like-colored pieces which will designate the two corners of the square. Click around the site to see a decent how-to-play.

Blast Works Vid [Wii]
Blast works: Build, Fuse and Destroy which is essential a update and port of Tumiki Fighters from doujin / shareware great ABA games is coming to the Wii (EU release Oct 2007 via Majesco hopefully US release announced soon). This looks to be amazing fun and the original version can be downloaded here. Kind of a mashup of katamari and g-darius, killed enemies can be captured and they strengthen your ship, getting hit causes captured ships to fall loose. Majesco’s line-ups have been quite impressive as of late. Kudos and props!

De Blob E3 Vid [Wii]
This one looks interesting from THQ, release Q1 2008. Originally a game made by some college students. The basic concept seems to be to mix colors and paint the town a goal number of objects around a standard 3d platform mechanic core. There is a free version and more info available here.
